Scope of this Policy

This Policy applies when you browse our website, request quotes, place orders, receive marketing from us, supply products/services to us, or apply for jobs with us in South Africa.

What we collect

  • Identity & contact: names, business details, phone numbers, email addresses, delivery/collection addresses.

  • Transaction data: quotes, orders, invoices, payment references, VAT details.

  • Communications: enquiries, support messages, call notes.

  • Website/cookie data: device, browser, IP address, pages viewed, preferences (see Cookies).

  • HR/recruitment (if applicable): CVs and information you choose to provide.
     

We collect information directly from you or, where lawful and relevant, from publicly available sources or service providers (e.g., couriers).

Why we process your information

We process personal information only where lawful and necessary to:

  • Provide products & services: prepare quotes, fulfill orders, deliveries/collections, after-sales support.

  • Customer relationship management: account administration, statements, service notices.

  • Legal & regulatory duties: tax, invoicing, record-keeping, POPIA/PAIA obligations.

  • Improve our services & site: analytics and service quality.

  • Direct marketing: to existing customers, or with consent—always with a simple opt-out.

Direct marketing & your choices

  • We may send emails/SMS/WhatsApp/phone calls about eco-friendly packaging supplies, promotions, and updates relevant to your business.

  • We will only do so if you are an existing customer or you have given consent.

  • Every message will identify us and include an easy opt-out. We action opt-outs promptly.

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above and to meet legal/accounting requirements. When no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it in line with POPIA retention principles.

Security

We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information against loss, damage, unauthorised access or processing. These include access controls, need-to-know permissions, secure backups, and staff awareness.

If we identify a security compromise that creates a real risk of harm, we will notify affected individuals and, where required, the Information Regulator.

Your POPIA rights

You can:

  • Access your personal information we hold.

  • Request correction or deletion of inaccurate/out-of-date information, or deletion where we may no longer lawfully retain it.

  • Object to certain processing, including direct marketing.

  • Withdraw consent at any time (we will then stop unless another lawful ground applies).

For efficient processing, include your name, contact details, and the request type (access, correction, deletion, objection, or marketing opt-out). We may request proof of identity and may guide you to the appropriate POPIA/PAIA form where applicable.
